I wanted to highlight a few Bible scriptures to make a major point of the conflicting message about the definition of love as it pertains to the supposed actions of God towards mankind. Since the Bible states that we were made in the image of God then we would also be endowed with aspects of God's consciousness which includes the ability to understand and feel the essence of love. There are many scriptures especially when quoting Jesus about the message of love. One such scripture is "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." (John 4:8 NIV)
Most people of the spiritual mind would not argue with this message of God the Source of all things being the embodiment of love. That love from a scientific standpoint is the radiation of the cosmic vibrational energy that creates the fabric of time and space of all that exists including our conscious energy selves. Therefore we are all connected by the love energy of God and to each other.
Another message came from the Apostle John in one of his letters about love - "For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another. Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil and his brother’s were righteous." (1 John 3:11,12 NIV) Here again most would agree with this message because if we truly loved each other we would not commit actions such as murder towards one another. No one has to tell us that this is wrong - to most people this is instinctive and we are appalled when we hear about these actions.
How do we feel when someone commits senseless murder like the incident in Connecticut especially towards innocent children? How would we feel about this person? Would you admire him or his actions regardless of his reasons? Could you really say that this individual had any quality of love in this matter? Of course not!
Now let's look at what the prophet Samuel, a messenger of the Bible's God, commands King Saul of Israel to do:
"Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.’” (1 Samuel 15:3 NIV)
Still have that warm and cozy feeling towards the Bible's version of God? Does this make you want to draw close to this "God of love" or do you feel a natural abhorrence to what is presented here.
Let's fast forward to the last book of the Bible - the book of Revelation and focus on what the God of the Bible plans are for a large portion of the human race during our time:
"13 The sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice coming from the four horns of the golden altar that is before God. 14 It said to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.”
15 And the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour and day and month and year were released to kill a third of mankind.
16 The number of the mounted troops was twice ten thousand times ten thousand. I heard their number.
17 The horses and riders I saw in my vision looked like this: Their breastplates were fiery red, dark blue, and yellow as sulfur. The heads of the horses resembled the heads of lions, and out of their mouths came fire, smoke and sulfur.
18 A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke and sulfur that came out of their mouths.
19 The power of the horses was in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails were like snakes, having heads with which they inflict injury.
20 The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk.
21 Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts."
(Rev 9:13-21 NIV)
To recap this passage, the God of the Bible is basically ordering the slaughter of 1/3 of all mankind - that works out to around three billion people based on today's total population. This God further holds the rest of mankind that he does not destroy in contempt as willful sinners. So who is the real sinner here?? It's like "the pot calling the kettle black"!
The main point that I'm making is that the true God/Source of all that is has been misrepresented by the Bible. I have no doubt that a "God of the Jews and Christians" as represented by the Bible actually existed but is simply some superior being that exerted control over a portion of the human race and somehow implied that he was also the creator of all the universe.
When you start to look at a bigger picture you finally realize that the greater portion of what was presented in the Bible was all about controlling people through fear and dread and consequences for disobeying the controller.
If you really want to know the true God/Source look within yourselves to discover the answer. Reclaim your power as a real human being - become empowered by knowing that only you control your destiny in reality!

The Worldwide Agenda of Fear
Fear! The word alone carries a plethora of meanings to the average person. In many ways the concept of fear literally controls the lives of most people. Allow me to list just a few of them so you know what I'm talking about.
Immediate fears most people experience:
Fear of crime committed against us or our families.
Fear of losing our jobs.
Fear of not making enough money to meet our expenses.
Fear of reprisal from an unjust government.
Now add to that fears that involve the immediate future:
Fear of an economic crash.
Fear of not being able to retire without working.
Fear of war.
Fear of pandemic diseases.
And finally the ultimate fears:
Fear of death whether to our loved ones or ourselves.
Fear of afterlife horrors such as hell or perhaps fear of no afterlife at all.
Fear of a God who demands fear and respect from believers.
No one will argue with the fact that we as a society have seen a gradual buildup of worldwide situations that have been pressed on the human mind - the result of which has produced a state of fear. However you may be wondering why I am referring to fear as being part of a worldwide agenda - an agenda by whom?
Before you can identify the "who" you have to be convinced that there is an actual agenda of fear by someone in the first place. The best way to start is to first examine the effects of what fear does to the human psyche which is the totality of the human mind, conscious, and unconscious. So what is fear?
Fear is defined as a distressing emotion brought on by an impending danger whether real or imagined that you perceive to be uncontrollable or unavoidable. However let's first exclude from our discussion what I would call "healthy" fears such as fear of the laws of nature i.e. being too close to the edge of a cliff for fear of falling. Notice in my defining fear there are two points to consider: 1) an impending situation that could be a real or imagined danger and 2) your perception of the situation that causes you to feel that you have no control. Therefore fear is almost always related to our mental contemplation of the immediate or long term future and depending on how we perceive that future will determine our emotional response. For us to mentally contemplate something we have to first allow our minds to gather enough "information" to get a specific picture of what the situation is and how it can impact us personally. For instance if a person can be fed enough negative information that ultimately makes you believe there is a horrible situation pending say a death and doom scenario then that person will begin to exhibit the emotion of fear. If this emotional state is prolonged over time then other negative emotions will spawn out or fear such as anxiety, dread, terror, fright, panic. As a person undergoes these emotions long term it will start to close off their ability to see a bigger picture of life and totally paralyze them to the point where they no longer have control of their own life.
Understanding this bit of human psychology it would not be hard to imagine that if you really wanted to control a group of people you would first control what information they would be allowed to see or hear. It would not matter if the information was real or not as long as it produced a certain perceived reality in the minds of the people. Therefore if you could create a perceived reality of dreadful impending situations in the minds of the people then they would begin to exhibit fear and before you know it they become easy to control. They perceive themselves as powerless even if all of what they think is real is just an illusion. It does not matter if it is just one person or a million that are rendered powerless - an entire population can be controlled this way by just a handful of manipulating controllers!
Can this really be so? Look in your history books and examine what Nazi Germany did to their people through propaganda. The German people were at first lulled into an illusion of a Third Reich that would last a thousand years but slowly over a twelve year period succumbed to such fear that no one would dare speak a word against Hitler or his Nazi government. Fear even caused the people to turn a blind eye to what was happening to the Jewish people in the concentration camps. Ultimately fear of death overridden every compassionate human emotion for their fellow humankind and in the end the consequences to the German nation was disastrous. Had the German population not succumbed to their fears in the first place and not allowed the German propaganda machine to create a false reality in their minds Hitler and the Nazi party would never have been allowed to control their population. So it might be said that the German people allowed themselves to be gradually controlled. When it hit a certain momentum of critical mass the people were unable to stop what happened to them and they had no choice but to see it all the way to the end.
So what about today? Can you see this happening in the world? Can you see this already happening in our country? It would not be necessary for me to point out all the impending situations that the American people are being subjected to now - I have already listed a few earlier in this article. But the question we need to ask yourself is - are these situations being fabricated to build a certain perceived reality in our minds? What kind of picture is being painted from all this? Is it a promising future of security and economic prosperity where all our citizens are treated fairly and are able to provide for our families without fear of war or crime? Well quite the opposite has been painted and no one will dispute that people have become fearful as a result. If that isn't bad enough more fuel is being added to the fear machine by bombarding us via news media and movies that capitalize on "end of the world" stories that add to this reality.
Now let's talk about religion for a second. Has it had an empowering effect on the human mind or quite the opposite? Unfortunately some who are of the Christian faith have convinced themselves that the death and destruction of mankind mentioned in the book of Revelation must become a reality because God's word said so. Yet they have become fearful of the very god that promises this destruction least they fall victims with the rest of the world in a coming Armageddon. They are programmed to fear death for they are told that God punishes bad behavior in a ghastly hellfire for eternity or some other destruction. They are disempowered as individuals when they are told that they are sinful creatures from God's standpoint and that a external savior is needed to give them eternal life. All I can tell you without going into details that most religions and especially their organizations are merely another form of control based on fear to keep large populations of people in check.
This "perceived reality" we have been living under has been going on for thousands of years. Even the history of the human race and the true nature of God has been completely distorted (I will cover this topic in another article).
Now let's look at the big picture again and you should start to see that there has been major manipulation of the human race for quite a while. By "whom" do we ask again? There is enough evidence now to conclude that there is a very small faction of folks who have been in charge of the entire world's affairs. Everything has been manufactured or manipulated for the desired result of this elite group. Wars were planned out ahead of time with the winners and losers already predetermined. Visible governments have been set up to give the public the perception that they have power in the voting process when in fact all this is staged in advance. This is the grand deception and it is easy to live within this manufactured matrix reality and never know it. What you must know is that fear you keep you trapped within this matrix. Only when you finally step outside of it and recognize it for what it truly is will you know the truth of who you really are and who they really are.
The first step of self-discovery is to educate yourself through personal research of what the truth really is and allow your inner intuition to guide you as to whether something is valid or not. Start a practice of daily mediation in a quiet spot to allow that intuition to speak to you from within. As you progress and the true facts become firmly rooted in your being then the fear and your old perceived reality will dissolve away.
Only then will you realize how powerful you truly are as you shape your own reality - not the reality of those who wish to control you!

The Awakening - The Message of Hope for Mankind
For the first time in thousands of years mankind has a real chance for peace for this entire planet. However there will be no peace unless we find peace from within ourselves. First we have to understand the true nature of who and what we are. We are more than just the physical body that can be seen by our senses for the body is a mere garment for the powerful energy body we truly are. Our mental thoughts and emotions actually send out electromagnetic waves of energy and can actually affect others including the Earth in a physical sense. The more people focus the same thought or emotion the greater the energy that can affect the environment. If those thoughts/emotions are centered on negative energy such as hate and fear then that energy will project on our environment and be reflected back in the form of violence, crime, wars, injustice and so on. However as this video will scientifically explain when we focus our thoughts and emotions on positive energies such as love and compassion that energy can actually lower the crime rate in the world. It has been demonstrated that when enough people have mediated on these positive thoughts at the same time a satellite in orbit was able to measure a significant change in Earth's magnetic field! This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to knowing how powerful we truly are and when that understanding is complete we will have the ability to change matter itself just by our thoughts alone! Pleiadian Wakeup Call
This video is an excellent trigger for those of us who are Pleiadian Incarnates/Starseeds/Indigos. Although some of us may have at one time or another in history lived on Earth we as Pleiadians have originated from the Pleiades star system (the Seven Sisters). We are here on Earth at this particular time to assist mankind in the coming transition or shift of consciousness that will result in a golden age for this world. Humans emotions collectively have everything to do with the coming shift for the emotions of love and gratitude result in a very powerful high vibrational field that can transform Earth into the paradise it once was. There are those who up to this point have controlled mankind by instilling the emotions of fear and hate (very low vibrational energies) that suppress the innate abilities of humans to empower themselves with energy that extends beyond the confines of their physical bodies and can literally change the fabric of reality itself! The True American Dream
Someone posed several questions that implied
that everyone should have the desire to strive to be financially
independent and to ultimately become "rich" including the life style
that comes with it. This same individual stated that if you did not
agree with this thinking that you were un-American and disavowing your
birth right and the reason this country was created. I completely
disagree and am saddened that some
have sunk to this level! To equate our life's achievements and success
purely on a monetary system is narrow-minded at best. What the American
people fail to realize is our dependence on the current monetary system
has all but completely enslaved and consumed us to the point where it
becomes the most important thing in our life. It also polarizes people
and creates the division of the have and have-nots. Also, is the current
system sustainable in the long run? Obviously everyone cannot be rich
for our system was never geared to allow that. For an existing resource
such as funds (be it fiat currency or electronic) the more someone has
implies the less someone else will have. This has created class
distinctions between the American people and as of late has virtually
eliminated the middle class. We are fast becoming a society of an ever
shrinking wealthy class and a vast population of "service workers" class
to support the wealthy. One may argue - what about those who work hard
to reach a certain achievement - shouldn't they be rewarded? Of course
they should! However reward can come in other ways other than monetary
and that's where everyone seems to be missing the boat! Some say "But
money makes the world go round?" and I say "And whose fault is that??"
You need to go back a hundred years and understand how the average family lived and supported themselves and where money came into play. At that time people were far more self-sufficient - many owned farms, grew their own food, bartered with neighbors for goods produced in the locality. People understood how to do many things or create many tools themselves that we today spend our hard earned money at the local Walmart procuring. Also when discussing the difference between "needs" and "wants" the needs of people today far exceed what was needed a century ago. Also "wants" have been confused with "needs" to the point where people today "think" they need everything that someone may have regardless if it is really needed. Hence consumerism has propelled itself into overdrive being fueled by the mass media and the internet. Technology has become a “drug” to most people – everyone wanting the latest and coolest device. Their dependency on technology has done nothing to teach them how to live if it suddenly disappeared!
Even money (our monetary system) is not sustainable due to the tremendous trade deficit of $16 Trillion dollars that the US continues to deepen but that is a topic all of its own!
Is there an American Dream? Yes – but it is the one that our original forefathers had envisioned. It was about true freedom – freedom from tyranny of all forms including governmental, religious and financial.

So What's Really Going to Happen on December 21, 2012?
There has been much said and written concerning this date for over a decade and as a result there is a wide spectrum of information ranging from the "end of the world" to just simply an end to a calendar cycle created by the ancient Mayans. I have personally researched this issue intensely over the past two years and have slowly pieced together elements of truth and separated the rumors and disinformation. However in order to be totally unbiased I had to look at every aspect of this subject - the spiritual as well as the science but also other sources that speak in common pertaining to this same time period. Let me start by saying "I don't really know where to start" as this research has taken me on such a journey of mind and spirit that it has totally changed my perception of reality itself. It has led me out of bowels of religious dogma and deep into the science behind the secrets of the universe and brought me in touch with the true spirituality that is within all of us.
First off this article will just summarize what I have discovered but I will leave the details to those that wish to research further. There is plenty of documented information available whether through hardcopy or internet although I would be cautious of material that merely expresses opinion and does not present much fact. Also it is important for you to be in touch with your own ability to decide what resonates with you as either fact or fiction. You can in fact sharpen this ability of discernment through daily meditation that allows your conscience mind to become more connected to the subconscious.
The first thing everyone needs to know is December 21, 2012 is NOT going to be the end of the world as one would imagine by a nuclear holocaust or meteor collision that results in humanity being toast and the earth becoming a charred rock in space. However it DOES signify the beginning of major changes on our planet that will ultimately lead to a golden age for mankind. However much will change - not necessarily right on December 21st but as we go into 2013 events will accelerate and will become very apparent to everyone that the world we once knew is no more.
There are three category of changes that will take place - physical earth changes, economic/political and the spiritual.
Within the physical there will be continued earth changes. Even now and for the past few years we are seeing the evidence of this change in the strange weather patterns and increased volcanic activity around the planet. We will continue to see tectonic plate movements that will reshape some of our landmasses and coastlines (it's not a bad idea to relocate to a higher elevation when you consider what has happened to New Orleans during Katrina and most recently the East coast with Hurricane Sandy). Also there is the ever present danger of an EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) from the sun that could fry our power grid and some electronic equipment. Scientists know it's not a matter of "if" but rather "when" this will take place. Incidentally the sun goes through an eleven year cycle of peak solar flare activity and this year is the peak of that cycle. So just imagine to yourself if electricity was no longer available! What would that do to today's society as dependent as it is on electronic devices and the internet? Everything would come to a screeching halt and the only thing that would become important is survival: "Where can I get enough food and clean water? How can I keep warm? How will I protect myself from others seeking to take what little I have?" There are thousands in the New York/New Jersey area that are still asking those questions though we do not hear much from mainstream media covering this on-going story. To get some idea of what life would be like without electricity there is a new TV series called Revolution on NBC that does a fair job of visualizing this.
Another change that has been building for awhile has to do with our economic system and our dependence on a monetary structure clearly out of control. Our lives up until now have been built around the power of currency and the power it has over us. We are rewarded with financial prosperity if we fall in line and are obedient to those that wield even greater financial influence. I'm sure everyone has heard the saying "He who has the money has the power" - this is not just some cute idiom but indirectly implies a duality of the "haves" and the "have nots" - all based on how much or how little we can have based solely on a monetary system. At this time this system is like a house of cards that can collapse at any time without much effort. For instance any of the earth changes I mentioned above can be the tipping point especially if we are hit with a significant Electromagnetic Pulse that will bring down the complete banking system. Once there is an economic collapse it will cascade in a collapse of the political/governmental systems throughout the earth. We are already seeing the instability of the European nations like Greece and Spain due to the problems associated with the Euro currency. If this becomes a global phenomenon then from a non-spiritual viewpoint all becomes hopeless as the world slowly destroys itself through chaos and anarchy.
Lastly and most importantly is the changes related to a spiritual kind. The Mayans were clear to point out that the end of this calendar cycle was just the beginning of a new start for humanity - a golden age to the divine feminine. This is a basic change to each and every person's state of consciousness to a new awareness of who we really are and what reality truly is. This will transcend all the current economic/governmental/religious systems and institutions that have divided and polarized mankind for thousands of years. For eons of time we as humans have been brainwashed into believing that we do not possess the answers to the "why" of our existence. We have been told to look "outside" ourselves for the answers whether it is to a higher god or authority separate from ourselves. Religion has been the worse program of this dis-empowerment by implying we are not powerful beings but sinful creatures who need to be saved by some higher entity. Sin has been translated as meaning "falling short of the mark" and maybe in this sense we as the human race fell short by "forgetting" how powerful we really are by allowing a small elite group of control freaks to run our lives! Even now many of us are waking up to our true nature - the powerful and eternal entities we have always been. We are not simply a human body with a soul - we are in fact a powerful energy light being with the ability to project a physical body and yet exists on so many different planes of existence simultaneously. We do not need anyone to control our reality and tell us that we cannot move forward in the experience we call life. All will become aware of our direct divine connection to the source of all life we call God and realize we do not need any go-between or mediator to make that connection. This is the "shift of consciousness" that will wake up all of mankind to this true reality and once this takes place our innate yet dormant powers of creation will activate and we will bring back healing to not only ourselves but also the planet Earth (a living conscious being herself). There will be no more duality as we know it - bad versus good, male versus female, Democrats versus Republicans - all this will be a thing of the past. We will be a new human species - doing everything for the greater good of all leaving all ego behind as just a phase of our growth much like when an adolescence becomes an adult.
As I said this is a basic summary of what to expect and it is a fairly accurate depiction of where we are at and what is to take place. Please keep in mind that December 21st, 2012 is just a marker, a beginning of what is to shortly take place. One should use their own senses to see what is happening around them and look from within to know when these changes are taking place. I hope it is the desire of everyone to learn the truth and not to stay in the illusion or comfort zone that some of us desperately attempt to hold on to. Change will happen - it is best to be mentally and spiritually prepared for it!

First off this article will just summarize what I have discovered but I will leave the details to those that wish to research further. There is plenty of documented information available whether through hardcopy or internet although I would be cautious of material that merely expresses opinion and does not present much fact. Also it is important for you to be in touch with your own ability to decide what resonates with you as either fact or fiction. You can in fact sharpen this ability of discernment through daily meditation that allows your conscience mind to become more connected to the subconscious.
The first thing everyone needs to know is December 21, 2012 is NOT going to be the end of the world as one would imagine by a nuclear holocaust or meteor collision that results in humanity being toast and the earth becoming a charred rock in space. However it DOES signify the beginning of major changes on our planet that will ultimately lead to a golden age for mankind. However much will change - not necessarily right on December 21st but as we go into 2013 events will accelerate and will become very apparent to everyone that the world we once knew is no more.
There are three category of changes that will take place - physical earth changes, economic/political and the spiritual.
Within the physical there will be continued earth changes. Even now and for the past few years we are seeing the evidence of this change in the strange weather patterns and increased volcanic activity around the planet. We will continue to see tectonic plate movements that will reshape some of our landmasses and coastlines (it's not a bad idea to relocate to a higher elevation when you consider what has happened to New Orleans during Katrina and most recently the East coast with Hurricane Sandy). Also there is the ever present danger of an EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) from the sun that could fry our power grid and some electronic equipment. Scientists know it's not a matter of "if" but rather "when" this will take place. Incidentally the sun goes through an eleven year cycle of peak solar flare activity and this year is the peak of that cycle. So just imagine to yourself if electricity was no longer available! What would that do to today's society as dependent as it is on electronic devices and the internet? Everything would come to a screeching halt and the only thing that would become important is survival: "Where can I get enough food and clean water? How can I keep warm? How will I protect myself from others seeking to take what little I have?" There are thousands in the New York/New Jersey area that are still asking those questions though we do not hear much from mainstream media covering this on-going story. To get some idea of what life would be like without electricity there is a new TV series called Revolution on NBC that does a fair job of visualizing this.
Another change that has been building for awhile has to do with our economic system and our dependence on a monetary structure clearly out of control. Our lives up until now have been built around the power of currency and the power it has over us. We are rewarded with financial prosperity if we fall in line and are obedient to those that wield even greater financial influence. I'm sure everyone has heard the saying "He who has the money has the power" - this is not just some cute idiom but indirectly implies a duality of the "haves" and the "have nots" - all based on how much or how little we can have based solely on a monetary system. At this time this system is like a house of cards that can collapse at any time without much effort. For instance any of the earth changes I mentioned above can be the tipping point especially if we are hit with a significant Electromagnetic Pulse that will bring down the complete banking system. Once there is an economic collapse it will cascade in a collapse of the political/governmental systems throughout the earth. We are already seeing the instability of the European nations like Greece and Spain due to the problems associated with the Euro currency. If this becomes a global phenomenon then from a non-spiritual viewpoint all becomes hopeless as the world slowly destroys itself through chaos and anarchy.
Lastly and most importantly is the changes related to a spiritual kind. The Mayans were clear to point out that the end of this calendar cycle was just the beginning of a new start for humanity - a golden age to the divine feminine. This is a basic change to each and every person's state of consciousness to a new awareness of who we really are and what reality truly is. This will transcend all the current economic/governmental/religious systems and institutions that have divided and polarized mankind for thousands of years. Empowerment
Everyone starts out in life as blank sheet of paper. Don't let other people write their stories on you but look from within and write your own story.
Become empowered by who you really are and not a reflection of someone else light.
Do not ask permission of anyone for the right to be an empowered individual for you are in fact powerful - we all are very powerful beings!
Take responsibility for your life - be accountable to yourself first before others!
End the co-dependency on others!
Do not be a follower of other humans for they are your brothers and sisters!
Do not allow other humans to follow you for you are simply their brother or sister!
Stop waiting for the government to solve your problems and empower yourself first and then work with others who do so likewise and take control of the situation!
Inspire others and stop waiting for someone else to inspire you!
Stop asking forgiveness from your religious authorities whether in heaven or earth for simply being born a human. You were not born in sin - you were only told that from the day you were born so that you could be controlled by requiring you to ask for forgiveness and permission to be "you"!
Knock down the walls in your mind and start knowing what true freedom means!
The key to all things possible is within you - it has been there all along!
Unlock the door and change the world as we know it - it is in your power!

Awakenings (Part 1)
Once a person is born into this world a program is set in place to create a certain reality in the mind that reinforces what you are supposed to believe - the religion you are raised in, the history and science as taught in schools, the laws of the government you should obey, etc. You are further expected to confirm to social norms particular to the community you were raised in. By the time you reach adulthood your view of life has been neatly boxed up in predefined dimensions that limit what you are able to grasp mentally or emotionally. Regardless of what a person considers freedom to be they fail to realize that they all suffer from the worst kind of bondage that has enslaved mankind for thousands of years - the prison of their mind! Trouble is for most people hardly a thought passes their minds to actually question what they believe and whether or not their thinking is based on factual truth.
The human mind's tendency is to always accept what they have been taught from childhood up as fact. For instance the person raised in a particular religion by devout parents tends to stay associated with that religion. Especially in the Western world where Christianity has had a firm hold, a teaching of human history starts out with two humans, Adam and Eve directly created by God a little over 6000 years ago and the flood about 4000 years ago as calculated from Bible scriptures. Even when science presents information that give strong evidence of the flood occurring further back in time (10 to 12 thousand years ago) the typical Christian believer will steadfastly adhere to his or her belief and despite the proof to the contrary will conclude that the Bible is right and science is wrong. Other religious teachings further locks down the mind in regards to the nature of God, the nature of the human soul and an eventual reward or punishment for whether or not you followed the steps outlined in the Bible to receive your eventual salvation. Even with the wide variation of Biblical interpretations that the different denominations make, each person holds on to their perceived version of reality of what Bible texts are actually saying.
Another human weakness is given in to peer pressure to conform to the group of people they most frequently associate with. If the members of the group have all been subjected to controlled thinking patterns as mentioned earlier, there is pressure on the person who may wish to think differently but is overwhelmed by the majority. The person would rather change their thinking to conform to the group than to face being ridiculed for thinking independently. A good example of this would be a group of people who frequent the same bar at night for social interaction. Depending on the conversation of the day let's say "how bad the economy is doing" the tone already has negative connotations. There is a well-know saying "Misery loves company!" and by sharing in this kind of conversation the negative energy of the group is further reinforced talking about the economy.
Due to the conditioning of this lifetime of mental control our ability to think independently about anything is diminished greatly. Being used to having someone tell us the answer all the time we automatically seek for and become co-dependent on persons considered authorities on various matters. Whether it is a preacher in a church, a school teacher, doctor or lawyer we automatically assume that they will take care of us and furnish us with the right answers. There is also an incredible dependance on governmental infrastructures to take care of our needs - always assuming they have our best interests at heart and have all the answers when problems arise.
One more example of mental conditioning that I know is completely false. How often do you hear the saying "You can't get ahead in life unless you get a formal education!". This implies that you as a human are completely incapable of learning on your own without the assistance of an institution. Perhaps it is from the standpoint that prospective employers will not hire you for your ability to be self-taught and even experienced in a particular skill set. (Sidebar note - I should mention that I am an example of a self-taught person that learned various technologies without the aid of a higher learning institution (aside from books) and went from working as a janitor in a dirty factory environment to becoming a Vice-President of IT for a major internet marketing company).
I could go on in describing more examples of how humans are mentally controlled but I believe I have made the main point of this discussion. Maybe in times past this control of the human mind was fairly successful but fortunately due to various factors people are starting to break free from all of this. People are now starting to question their lives and reevaluating what the true meaning of life is all about. What has caused this change and only recently?
First off for many years earlier in the last century despite two world wars the structure of society stayed fairly rigid and expectations of how one should behave was likewise just as strict. Very few people questioned authority and any that did faced severe consequences.
However as World War II was near it's end - the atomic bombs were dropped in Japan killing thousands of people instantly and affecting an even greater number of people to the damaging effects of radiation. This is what is considered the starting point of a change in the human condition. As time passed a prosperous decade followed in the 1950's and 1960's. The United States became involved in the Vietnam War in the mid-1960's but though there were wars beforehand, people started waking up to realizing that something was very wrong with this and the world in general.
Hence the start of the Hippie generation - youthful people with ideals that rebelled against the "establishment" of that time. They began to question authority, question what they were taught and began to search for an alternative to the life that had previously suppressed them mentally. Not having any experience with any other kind of life pattern they experimented with different lifestyles including taking mind-altering drugs that would further enlighten their experience. Sad to say as the 70's and 80's wore on a lot of these same folks traded their bell-bottomed jeans and sandals for business suits and became the foundation for the jet-setters in the corporate world. The enticement of a lifestyle earning large incomes and "living the life" as they call it certainly distracted many from staying on the course of "human change". Now the new dimension was added to this mental prison by placing an inordinate importance on material wealth, a prestigious career and a lifestyle to match.
The good times of economic prosperity would not last forever and signs began to show especially in the 1990's that the "establishment" was really on shaky ground. Now enter the internet in the mid 1990's. A temporary reprieve of the economy caused a boom in the internet industry of dot.com companies coming into existence and we were now graced with what was called the "Information Age". This was very significant in that now there was an increasing exchange of ideas between people from all over the world. This once again began to foster some thinking "outside the box" on many different life matters. However for the majority of people (especially in the US) it was still business as usual and nothing significant was really causing a major change in people's lives or way of thinking about life.
